Getting here ...

There are daily flights from the main european cities to the two Tenerife airports: Los Rodeos (north) and Reina Sofia (south).

How to transfer from Tenerife to El Hierro? You have two options:

A Binter Canarias flight from Los Rodeos Airport (north)
There are several flights a day. Information and reservations: www.bintercanarias.es or 902 391 392; estimated duration: 30 minutes. Take note that if you choose this option is better that your international flight arrives at the same airport.

By ferry from Los Cristianos in southern Tenerife. Information and reservations:

Take note that if you take the ferry, is better that your International flight lands in Reina Sofia airport (south) which is the nearest to Los Cristianos.

Once in El Hierro, you can reach La Restinga taking a taxi or renting a car if you also want to visit the island. The journey takes about 45 minutes.

There is also a very cheap public bus service conecting the airport to the rest of the island, also La Restinga.

A small fishermen village in the south of the island.
Just a few minutes from the harbour there are over 15 dive sites among the best in Europe.
